There’s a well-known idea in habit-building:
Make it so easy you can’t say no.
\nDon’t commit to running 5k—put on your shoes and walk around the block.
Don’t meditate for an hour—breathe for two minutes.
Write one sentence instead of a full journal entry.
We know that works for habits.
\nBut it also works for dreams.
\nIf your big dream feels out of reach right now—what’s the smallest, realest version of it you can live this week?
\nThis isn’t about settling.
It’s about touching the dream where you are.
And letting it change you now.
And here’s the thing:
\nYou don’t have to reach the big dream for this to be worth it.
\nThat small act—writing one line, recording one riff, wandering a new street—has value on its own.
\nIt can make you feel alive. It can tend to a part of you that’s been quietly waiting.
\nEven if it never becomes the thing you thought it might, it can still bring joy, clarity, and connection.
\nSometimes, that’s more than enough.
\nPsychedelics have reminded me of that again and again.
They’ve shown me how to dream bigger—and also how to find wonder in the smallest, most ordinary acts.
Making tea. Sitting under a tree. Writing one honest sentence. That is the dream, sometimes.
\nThe small version isn’t a compromise.
\nIt’s a doorway.
What’s one tiny version of a big dream you could say yes to this week?
Reply and tell me, I’d love to hear it
\nI somehow managed to miss both Bicycle Day and 4/20 this year. No acid, no weed...just long walks, deep chats, and staying grounded. A trip in its own way.
\nThat said... here's a playlist for your 420, whenever you decide to have it ;)

\nThis week I was named one of Webdelics' Top 100 Thought Leaders and Content Creators in Psychedelics for 2025!
\nIt was a really nice surprise and something of an honor to be in such good company on this list. I’ve been active for almost a decade now and even though I’m in a quieter phase right now, it feels good to be seen and acknowledged for my work.
Grateful to contribute to this transformative field and excited for what’s ahead.
Thanks Webdelics!
\n❤️ Love and mettā,

Hi Reader, 🍄 Laws of Living: What We Can Learn from Ozzy Last week, the world lost a behemoth. Ozzy Osbourne passed away a couple of weeks after playing a charity show, the same one that prompted me to share a live Black Sabbath video in the last newsletter. I feel connected to both Ozzy and Sabbath. Even though I didn’t grow up listening to them and discovered their music later (they’re a generation before me), they were part of the landscape I grew up in. They’re from Birmingham, a...
Hi Reader, 🍄 Just being with people can be the medicine Sorry I didn’t get the newsletter out to you last week. I had a pretty full week of family and friends mixed with travel. Today’s newsletter is a bit more personal memoir but I’ll leave you with something to think about :) First up, I went on a short cruise with my mum to Amsterdam. She’s responded well to her initial treatment and was given an all clear. She’d like to travel while she’s well enough, so we thought we’d go on a short...
Hi Reader, 🍄 Trip Like a Movie I often enjoy psychedelics with others like I enjoy films... I like to be with someone I trust, but with our attention on the experience of the film, not talking all the way through it. How I like to partake in group psychedelic experiences is on my mind because a new friend asked if I'd like to trip with them. I told them yes, but I'd like to sit down and talk about how we like to trip first. That's because different people have different ideas about how to...
